Car Slams Into New Britain Building; Serious Injury Reported
An SUV struck a downtown building Tuesday night and a pedestrian was seriously injured.
NEW BRITAIN, CT — A person suffered serious injuries when a car slammed into a downtown New Britain building, according to NBC CT.
An SUV struck the New Britain Downtown District Visitor’s Center at 66 West Main St. on Tuesday night, WTNH News-8 reported.
It's unclear if the person who was hit was in the building or on the street outside the building.

The pedestrian was hospitalized after suffering life-threatening injuries but is now in stable condition, according to NBC CT.
The cause of the crash has not been released. The driver has not been identified.
