Celebrity Pro-Am Pairings Set at Travelers Championship

Eighteen celebrities and 17 of the top 40 players in the World Golf Rankings are slated to tee it up Wednesday in Cromwell.

CROMWELL, CT — National and local sports notables and some stars of the entertainment world will converge on the TPC River Highlands Wednesday for the annual Travelers Championship Celebrity Pro-Am.

Comedian/actor George Lopez, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductees Ray Allen and Jim Calhoun, football legend Boomer Esiason and Connecticut-based Stanley Cup champions Nick Bonino and Ron Hainsey are among 18 celebrities who will tee off between noon and 1 p.m.
