Champions Crowned At Class M Track and Field Meet

NEW BRITAIN, CT — Once again, weather wreaked havoc with high school state championship competition Wednesday, forcing suspension of four of the six CIAC track and field meets.

The Class LL championships will be completed Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Willow Brook Park in New Britain, while the Class MM meet, which had been running at Middletown High School, will conclude Thursday at 10 a.m., also at Willow Brook.

Class M was the only division to complete all events Wednesday. Here are the top three teams, plus individual event winners; an asterisk (*) indicates a new class meet record. Click here for complete results of all events.
