TRUMBULL/HEBRON, CT — The leaderboards at the conclusion of the CIAC boys Division I and girls Division II golf championships Monday couldn't have reflected any bigger difference in the two winning programs. At Tashua Knolls Golf Club in Trumbull, Berlin was paced by medalist Kenna Roman's 78 to cruise to victory. Samantha Dunn shot 82, Libby Dunn 86 and Charley Carlson 91 to all place within the top 10 individuals.

Meanwhile, all Tallwood Country Club in Hebron, A.J. DePaolo paced Cheshire with a 1-under par 71, just one stroke behind individual champion Andrew Beauton of Guilford. Dylan Gillotti fired a 78, Jack DeJoseph had an 81 and Jack Brewster posted an 86 for the Rams.
