Connecticut-Based Jeweler Joins Forces With UConn Athletics
Michaels Jewelers Monday announced that it has joined UConn Athletics as a corporate sponsor.

CONNECTICUT — Michaels Jewelers Monday announced that it has joined UConn
Athletics as a corporate sponsor.
The four-year deal starts with with the 2020-21 basketball season.

Owners Camile Hannoush and his family said the chairn if stores is "championing the men's and women's basketball teams in an effort to support the local community and UConn's
widely-heralded programs."
As part of the deal, Michaels Jewelers will debut a new UConn jewelry collection, which will be available at all nine locations across Connecticut.

Michaels Jewelers will be "visible as a sponsor" at Gampel Pavilion.
"We’re thrilled to support our home state’s elite athletes and be a part of a story that
fosters so much community pride," Hannoush said. "Our business is family-owned and operated. We live in Connecticut, and in these unprecedented times, we think it’s more important than ever to take care of our community. We're rooting our Huskies on and we're happy to support UConn's basketball program and its teams that give us all a reason to cheer."
UConn Athletic Director David Benedict welcomed the partnership.
