Connecticut High School Boys Ice Hockey Preseason Rankings Released

CONNECTICUT — As regular season play commences this week in Connecticut high school boys ice hockey, a panel of coaches and sports media members has cast ballots on the top teams in the state.

Defending Division I champion Fairfield Prep, winner of 19 state titles overall, received first-place votes from 6 of 11 panelists to top the rankings. Notre Dame-West Haven, last year's runner-up and champion in 2021, collected three top votes to place second, and New Canaan garnered the other two top nods to wind up third.

Here are the top 10, plus all other programs receiving votes.
