Connecticut High School Girls Basketball Preseason Poll Released
A total of 32 teams received votes in the initial balloting of the 2022-23 girls basketball season.

CONNECTICUT — Votes were split in the Connecticut high school girls basketball preseason poll, with no clear-cut favorite emerging.
Sacred Heart Academy garnered first-place nods from six of 15 voters to edge Holy Cross, which had seven top votes. Notred Dame-Fairfield, which finished seventh in the balloting, was tabbed top team by two voters.
The ballots were cast just prior to opening night.
