Coronavirus CT Town-By-Town Positive Cases, Deaths Updated
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut has reached 29,973 and 2,556 deaths reported.
CONNECTICUT — The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut has reached 29,973, while the number of deaths is 2,556 and the current number of hospitalizations is 1,464.
Over the past 24 hours positive coronavirus cases rose by 661, deaths increased by 61 but hospitalizations declined for the 12th straight day. The reduction was 24 new hospital admissions.
Fairfield, New Haven and Hartford county also saw a reduction in hospitalizations, while Litchfield, New London, Middlesex, and Windham county all saw a slight increase. Tolland County was unchanged. New Haven County had the biggest one day decline of 18, followed by Fairfield County, 7, and Hartford County, 6.
