Coronavirus Numbers Reveal Another Big Drop In Hospitalizations
Connecticut officials released the latest number of confirmed cases, deaths and people tested in the state.
CONNECTICUT — The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut increased by 203 to 41,672 and the number of COVID-19 deaths spiked by 42 to 3,868, according to the latest information from the state Department of Public Health.
But the biggest news over the past 24 hours is that the number of hospitalizations dropped by another 71 beds and is now at 577. A total of 241,393 people in Connecticut have been tested for the coronavirus.
Over the past 24 hours hospitalizations dropped by 25 in New Haven, 23 in Fairfield, 20 in Hartford, 3 in Litchfield, 2 in Middlesex and no change in Tolland and New London counties. Windham saw a one-day increase of two cases.
