CT Applebee's Offering $200 Hiring Incentive For New Cooks
Applebee's restaurants are offering a bonus in an effort to find new cooks.

CONNECTICUT — Applebee's parent company, T.L.Cannon is offering a $200 bonus as an incentive to hire new cooks at its Connecticut restaurants.
The plan was announced Thursday in conjunction with a Sept. 14 hiring event. Connecticut locations include Plainville, Mansfield, Torrington, Orange, Groton and Danbury.
The hiring events are slated for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and all candidates applying to be a cook will have the opportunity to earn a $200 sign-on bonus, if hired. Other incentives for Applebee's cooks include an average or more than 30 hours per week, company contributed medical coverage after one year, a paid meal during a shift and vacations.

"At Applebee’s, we see our team members as family," said Susan Sabio, the Vice President of human resources at T.L. Cannon Companies. If this seems like a good fit, head down to your local Applebee’s on September 14th to apply."
All interested applicants must visit the restaurant between the scheduled timeframe and meet with an Applebee’s manager, officials said. Applications may be filled out in person at the event or via tlcannoncareers.com.

In addition to multiple cook positions, other openings include a range of full-time and part-time opportunities, including host, to go staff, server, bartender, dishwasher and management, all with "the potential for career development and advancement."
Applicants need to mention the hiring bonus during the interviews.
