CT Convention & Sports Bureau/CTMEETINGS Wins Prestigious Stella Award

Statewide Bureau Honored with Silver Award for "Northeast's Best Convention & Visitors Bureau/Destination Marketing Organization (CVB/DMO)

Northstar Meetings Group and its leading brands, Meetings & Conventions and Successful Meetings, have announced the 2024 recipients of the 8th Annual Stella Awards that includes a Silver Award for the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS) in the Convention & Visitors Bureau/Destination Marketing Organization (CVB/DMO) for the Northeast. CTMEETINGS is Connecticut’s only statewide sales and marketing organization for meetings, conventions, and sports events.

The Stella Awards honor excellence across key industry segments: hotels, convention and conference centers, airlines, cruise lines, DMOs/CVBs and DMCs. This year's winners, selected from more than 8,000 votes and 1,001 nominations, exemplify overall excellence, superb food and beverage offerings, professionalism of staff, sustainability initiatives, and other critical aspects of the meetings and events experience.
