CT Coronavirus Positive Test Rate Above 3 Percent 2 Days In Row

The state reported nearly 1,500 new cases Wednesday and a second day of a positive test rate above three percent.

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut for a second day in a row had a positive coronavirus test rate above three percent with nearly 1,500 new cases reported.

Coronavirus hospitalizations caught back on to the downward trend Wednesday after a single day of increases — there was a 16-patient decrease down to 495 hospitalized for the virus.

Another 23 deaths were reported, bringing the state total up to 7,595.
