CT Coronavirus Trends Hold Steady: Town-By-Town Updates
The state saw a slight drop in the coronavirus positive test rate, but hospitalizations saw an increase.
CONNECTICUT — Connecticut's coronavirus trends held mostly steady Tuesday with a slight drop in the daily positive test rate with another 1,470 cases reported.
The daily positive test rate was 5.98 percent and continues a short trend of the figure dropping slightly. The rate isn't great from a public health perspective, but it's better than the alternative of a constantly increasing one.
Connecticut hospitals had a net gain of 26 coronavirus patients, bringing the total up to 1,269.
