CT Coronavirus Updates: 2 More Deaths Reported, 135 New Cases
Hospitalizations dropped slightly in Wednesday's daily report after a few days on the rise.

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut’s net coronavirus hospitalization rate reversed a multi-day rising trend with a net drop of one patient. The state’s positive test rate for Wednesday was 1.2 percent, which is still among the best in the country.
There were 135 new coronavirus cases reported out of more than 11,000 test results.
The state also reported two more coronavirus-related deaths Wednesday, which brought the state total up to 4,487.

The largest increases in case counts over the past day by town were:
- Danbury: 24
- Hartford: 16
- Waterbury: 8
- Greenwich: 7
- New Britain: 7
