CT Coronavirus Updates: 3,259 Deaths, 39,017 Cases
Connecticut officials released updated town-by-town numbers of confirmed coronavirus cases, deaths and people tested.
CONNECTICUT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut has now reached 39,017 and the number of COVID-19 related deaths is now at 3,529.
Over the past 24 hours, confirmed cases rose by 587, deaths by 57 and the number of people currently hospitalized decreased by 27 to 887. This is the first time Connecticut's total hospitalizations has been below 900 in more than a month.
More than 5,000 new tests were administered over the past 24 hours.
