CT's Coronavirus Positive Test Rate Remains Over 1 Percent
Connecticut's daily positive test rate seems to have settled slightly above 1 percent.

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut maintained its positive test rate in the low 1 percent range Tuesday with 136 new positive cases out of more than 12,000 tests. That equates to a 1.1 percent positive test rate, which is up slightly from a month ago where the rate was closer to .8 percent. Still, that is among the lowest rates in the country.
Net hospitalizations for the coronavirus increased by two patients up to 70. There was an additional coronavirus-related death reported Tuesday as well.
Since the pandemic began, Connecticut has now reported 56,160 cases, 4,496 deaths and 1.477 million tests have been administered.
