CT Exceeds 4,000 Coronavirus Deaths And 43,000 Confirmed Cases
The number of current hospitalizations in Connecticut declined to below 400 for the first time in months.
CONNECTICUT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut increased by 148 to 43,239 and the number of deaths increased by 18 to 4,007, according to the latest data from the state Department of Public Health.
The number of hospitalizations continues to drop and this time by another 33 cases to 373 current hospitalizations.
Here are the latest hospitalizations by county: Fairfield 126; New Haven 128; Hartford 90; Middlesex 15; New London 8; Litchfield 3; Windham 3; Tolland 0.

To date, 9,669 patients have been hospitalized with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 in Connecticut and 7,284 patients hospitalized with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 have been
discharged.
Among 215 nursing homes in CT, 169 (79%) have had at least one laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 case and 152 (71%) have had at least one COVID-19-associated death.
