CT Hits Nearly 5 Month Low For Coronavirus Hospitalizations

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut hit its lowest number of coronavirus hospitalizations in nearly five months after a sizeable decrease in the net number of hospitalized patients. Hospitalizations dropped by 14 patients over the weekend down to a net of 42 patients. It's the lowest number of patients since March 20 in Connecticut.

Tolland, Windham and Litchfield counties have no coronavirus-related hospitalizations. Hartford has seven, Middlesex four, New London two, New Haven 18 and Fairfield 11.

Another 370 positive cases were reported out of more than 44,000 test results for a positive test rate of .84 percent. Another three coronavirus-related deaths were reported as well.
