CT Lottery Introduces $50 Scratch Game With $4 Million Jackpot

CONNECTICUT — The Connecticut Lottery Corporation Monday morning announced the launch of its first $50 game, called "$4,000,000 Fortune." The game features a top prize of $4 million.

In addition to the large top prize, the game features the best overall odds — 1 in 2.38 and 40 chances to win per ticket.

Connecticut now joins 21 other U.S. lotteries in offering instant games at the $50 to $100 price point.

"CLC is thrilled to begin offering this beautiful, new $50 ticket, which we think players at that price point will really enjoy," said Carlos Rodriguez, the director of lottery games for the CT Lottery. "With over fifty years of experience in the lottery business, CLC knows some of our customer base will love this game, and enjoy the rewards of its prize structure."

The game has been already been distributed to many of the CT Lottery's retailers, with sales of the game beginning this week, he said.

The CT Lottery offers more than 50 lottery instant games each year with prices ranging from $1 to $30, and now $50. The lineup includes several holiday and winter-themed games.
