CT Lottery Ticket Worth $2 Million Sold In Oakville

The unclaimed Powerball prize was sold last week at a 7-Eleven, lottery officials said.

OAKVILLE, CT — A winning Connecticut lottery ticket worth $2 million was sold recently at a gas station in Oakville, lottery officials announced last week.

The ticket for Connecticut's Powerball drawing was sold on May 20 at 7-Eleven, located at 188 Davis St.

Powerball is a multi-state game with a jackpot that starts at $20 million and grows until it is won. Drawings are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. The jackpot for Saturday's drawing is $150 million.

All draw game prizes expire and must be claimed within 180 calendar days from the date of the drawing, according to lottery officials.
