CT Man Partially Paralyzed Following Bull Attack: Reports
A man was seriously injured when a bull attacked him at a Connecticut farm.

HARWINTON, CT — A man was seriously injured after being attacked by a bull at a farm in Harwinton on Friday. Ellen Hull said her brother, Randy Jaquins, 59, of Winsted, was putting cows back in a barn after milking when he noticed a bull alone in the field, The Register Citizen reported.
The bull was in heat, as this time of year is their mating season. Hull told The Register Citizen that "Randy basically was in the wrong place at the wrong time."
State troopers were called at 12:21 p.m. to help EMS with a medical call on Locust Road, NBC reported. There was an initial request for LifeStar, but that was canceled and an ambulance came.

Jaquins was hospitalized. When Hull visited him, he was conscious and speaking. However, he was paralyzed from the waist down and had to have his neck fused.
Hull has set up a GoFundMe to help with recovery expenses. It's unclear how long Jaquins will have to be in the hospital.

She wrote on GoFundMe: "My name is Ellen Hull. My brother Randy Jaquins was recently in a severe accident. A bull attacked him. Randy was working on a farm nearby at the time of the attack. He is currently in the hospital and trying to recover. It will be a long road to recovery for him as his neck was broken and had to be fused together. He is currently paralyzed from the waist down, we are all hoping this will be temporary but are preparing for the worse. He and his family will be grateful for any donations that you provide. Thank you."
The fundraiser has a goal of $50,000. To donate, go to GoFundMe.
