CT Native & Meteorologist Joins NBC Connecticut
He comes home to Connecticut after a seven-year stint with WeatherNation in Colorado.
CONNECTICUT — Meteorologist Steve Glazier, a Connecticut native, joined NBC Connecticut this month after several years working out of state.
"I will be joining the weather team at NBC Connecticut later this month!" Glazier wrote on LinkedIn. "It's an exciting return to a solid local news station, in the state where I grew up. Thank you to all who have helped me get to this point."
The Laurel was the first to report on Glazier's return to Connecticut.

Glazier, who grew up in Stafford Springs, interned at NBC Connecticut in 2007, and during his intro to the newsroom this month, fellow meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan ribbed him by showing a video from 17 years ago of Glazier delivering a forecast. Click here to view the clip.
"We weren't even in this new building at the time, so it's great to see you come back," Hanrahan said of the old video.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and Broadcasting from Lyndon State College, and has also held meteorologist positions in Winchester, Virginia (WHSV-TV); Burlington, Vermont (WFFF-TV/WVNY-TV Fox44/ABC22); and West Palm Beach, Florida (WPEC-TV CBS12).
