CT Patch Survey: Significant Easing Of Coronavirus Restrictions

CONNECTICUT — Gov. Ned Lamont announced that Connecticut will ease many coronavirus restrictions come March 19 and April 2.

Many establishments including restaurants (close at 11 p.m. and eight-person table limit), retail stores, offices, gyms and houses of worship will revert to normal capacity limits. Mask mandates, social distancing and cleaning protocols will remain in effect.

Social gathering sizes at private residences and commercial venues will be increased as well.

Lamont's announcement Monday comes just four days shy of the one-year mark of when the first residential coronavirus case was announced in the state.
