CT Reports 2,500+ Coronavirus Cases, Hospitalizations Down
The state saw a slightly higher amount of coronavirus cases Tuesday, but hospitalizations continued a decline.
CONNECTICUT — Connecticut reported another 2,568 coronavirus cases Tuesday and a slightly higher daily positive test rate of 4.36 percent.
Coronavirus hospitalizations have declined nearly every day for the past two weeks with a 12-patient drop Tuesday down to 900 hospitalized. The second Connecticut coronavirus wave peaked at 1,269 hospitalizations in mid-December.
The state also reported another 14 coronavirus-related deaths, which brought the state total up to 7,133.
