CT School Closings, Delays For Wednesday Dec. 11

Some school closures and delays can be expected for Wednesday Dec. 11 due to snow.

CONNECTICUT — The state is expected to get 1 to 4 inches of snow during the Wednesday morning commute hours and that means school delays and cancellations are possible. Rain in the late evening will change over to snow in the overnight hours.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the state from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the southern part of the state and from 1o p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday for Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties. The southern part of the state is expected to get 1 to 2 inches of snow while Hartford Tolland and Windham counties are expected to get 1 to 4 inches.
