CT TV News Station Hires Vermont Reporter
NBC CT has hired Kevin Gaiss, a Connecticut native who has spent the last three years as a reporter for a Vermont station.
CONNECTICUT — Kevin Gaiss, a reporter for WCAX in Vermont, is leaving the station for NBC CT, The Laurel reported.
Gaiss, a Connecticut native, joined Channel 3 This Morning as a reporter in June 2020. He spent almost three years there before switching to the daytime team, according to WCAX.
He reportedly "quickly fell in love with the agriculture beat and covered everything from environmental changes to cow kisses."

Gaiss found a love for broadcast journalism in high school before graduating from Springfield College in Massachusetts with a degree in sports journalism. WCAX was his first job, though he served in newsrooms in New Haven, Boston, and CBS This Morning in New York City, according to his bio.
