Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For CT Next 2 Days: What You Need To Know
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the entire state on Labor Day. Here's what you need to know.

CONNECTICUT — Heavy rain moves into the state Monday night, and up to five inches could fall in parts of Connecticut before it tapers off late Tuesday.
A flash flood watch and hazardous weather outlook have been issued for the entire state. There is also a chance for thunderstorms Monday afternoon and night. Rainfall rates of an inch per hour are possible Tuesday morning in some parts of the state.
"The heaviest rain is expected around 8 AM on Tuesday," WFSB 3 TV meteorologists Connor Lewis with Lorin Richardson wrote. "We may get periods of heavy rain, which could trigger a flash flood sometime Tuesday morning. Rainfall rates exceeding one inch per hour will be isolated. We are generally expecting moderate rain for most of Tuesday morning, and most of the rain will be diffused over a long period of time to prevent flash flooding." (You can watch video of the WFSB 3 TV forecast here).
