Snow Accumulation Estimates Released For Monday In CT
If you love snow, then this has been a great winter thus far for you. And more snow is forecast for Monday. Here's what to know.
Many towns in Connecticut received a fresh coating of snow on the ground Sunday morning, and some more snow is on the way as our active winter weather pattern continues into next week.
"Another system looks to arrive sooner with light snow and has it moving in during the afternoon (on Monday) and continuing into the evening hours," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists. "Due to a cold start and late day slick spots, we have gone ahead and issued a First Alert Weather Day. Amounts right now will range from a coating to 2″, but these numbers could decrease some or increase so please keep checking back in. As of now, inland locations will see the highest chance at the higher end amounts."

Some more wintry precipitation, rain on Wednesday
"Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, we’ll have to monitor a warm front moving in and precipitation falling in the form of a wintry mix. It looks brief and mainly across NW CT that a mix is possible before flipping over to plain rain," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists.
