Snow Accumulation Estimates Rise For Parts Of CT: Here Are The Latest Numbers
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for three counties in CT. And a major storm is forecast on Monday.
CONNECTICUT — A winter weather advisory is in effect for Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield counties for Friday night and Saturday morning, where up to five inches of snow may accumulate.
For the remainder of the state, it appears that 1–2 inches of snow may accumulate.
"With a slight jog north in the track, we now expect 3-5″ of snow across the western half of the state; with 1-3″ trending lower as one heads farther east toward the RI border," the WFSB 3 TV meteorologists said.

While snow of any magnitude is of interest in Connecticut, especially in light of how little we've received this year, all eyes are on Monday night and Tuesday where a much stronger coastal storm could bring snow, rain and strong wind gusts to the state.
"We have *another* Early Warning Weather ALERT early next week… for what could be a long duration, slow-moving storm. From Monday into Tuesday, a variety of precipitation is possible with an intensifying wind," the WFSB 3 TV meteorologists said. (Watch the full WFSB 3 TV weather forecast here).
