CT Woman Wins $1 Million In Lottery Game, Plans To Get A Nice Lunch
A Connecticut woman won the huge prize on a scratch-off game. She has modest plans for spending her winnings.
THOMPSON, CT — What would you do if you won $1 million? Buy a sports car? Book a trip to Tahiti? Quit your job in a blaze of glory?
Well, a Connecticut woman has much simpler aspirations: She's treating herself to a nice lunch.
Helena Greenleaf, of Thompson, won the massive cash prize playing the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,500,000 Merry & Bright” game.
