Danbury Forestry Crews Removing Dangerous Trees
A falling tree is blamed for the death this week of a man riding in a pick-up truck along Padanaram Road.

DANBURY, CT — City foresters have been tasked with identifying other potentially dangerous trees in the wake of the death of the resident killed when a massive tree fell on the truck in which he was a passenger.
The city’s forestry division has identified 46 trees along city roads that might pose a risk, The News Times is reporting. Crews will be removing those trees this week, along with continuing the cleanup from the 40 other trees taken down after the May macroburst.
