Drive-By Shooting Narrowly Misses Teen In Plainfield Bedroom: PD

Several projectiles were fired during the Wednesday incident, according to police.

PLAINFIELD, CT — A drive-by shooting struck a multi-occupant condominium Wednesday night, and one bullet entered a bedroom and almost hit a 13-year-old, according to police.

No one was injured in the shooting, police said.

The incident happened around 9:20 p.m. Police received multiple reports of gunshots being fired from a vehicle in the vicinity of Sachem Drive.

The police department’s Special Investigations Unit determined several projectiles were fired. One entered a bedroom “nearly striking a thirteen-year-old juvenile,” police said.

An investigation is ongoing, with no arrests made.
