East Catholic, Hamden Top Year-End High School Basketball Polls
Division I boys champion East Catholic and Class LL girls titlist Hamden were the leading vote-getters in the final polls of 2022-23.

CONNECTICUT — The champions of the most prominent divisions in Connecticut high school basketball emerged as the unanimous top vote-getters in the final polls of state sports media members.
Division I boys champion East Catholic and Class LL girls winner Hamden each received the top nod from every voter in their respective polls. The Eagles came from behind to edge Northwest Catholic 49-47 in the title matchup, earning their third straight state championship. Meanwhile the Green Dragons dominated Fairfield Ludlowe 63-48 to earn the program's first state crown.
