Field Hockey Teams From Hartford/Tolland Counties Set For State Games

CONNECTICUT — Brackets for the three CIAC high school field hockey tournaments were released Friday, and more than a dozen schools from Hartford and Tolland counties will soon begin their quests for a state championship.

Among teams from the area, Canton received the highest seed, ranked second in Class S. Other top 5 berths were earned by Glastonbury (No. 3, Class L) and Wethersfield (No. 4, M).

Play-in games are slated for Saturday and Monday, with first-round action set to commence Tuesday.
