Forecast Of Thunderstorms Postpones Girls Lacrosse Title Contests
The CIAC Class L and Class S championships in girls lacrosse will be decided Tuesday instead of Monday.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A forecast of thunderstorms developing Monday afternoon in the Fairfield area has prompted officials of the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) to postpone a pair of championship girls lacrosse matches scheduled at Sacred Heart University.
The Class L title match, featuring top-seeded Darien and second-seeded New Canaan, will now be played Tuesday at 6 p.m. It will be followed at 8 p.m. by the Class S final between top-ranked Weston and No. 2 New Fairfield.
