Rachael Jay left NBC Connecticut in October.

CONNECTICUT — Meteorologist Rachael Jay, who left NBC Connecticut in October, has landed a new job at WJZ in Baltimore, she announced on Facebook.

The move to Maryland is not the first time she has worked there, having had a job at HMTV6 in Hagerstown.

"2024 has been a year of ups and downs for me," wrote Jay, who left NBC Connecticut after nearly three years at the station. "No matter what the next 6 weeks brings, I'll be ending the year back in my home state, 8.5 years after leaving."
