Fromer CT News Assignment Editor Lands TV Reporter Job
In addition to television news, she also is an accomplished singer.
Lexi White, a former part-time assignment editor at WTNH-TV in New Haven, has landed a new television news reporter position in Massachusetts, she announced.
White is joining WWLP 22 News in Springfield, after spending four years at WTNH, two of which were as an intern.
"A huge thank you to all my colleagues and mentors at WTNH for guiding me in the right direction," White wrote on LinkedIn. "Four years ago, I walked into the newsroom for the first time to be interviewed about my music. I then completed two internships and was offered a job on the assignment desk as just a junior in college. News 8 made me fall in love with this field and I am so grateful to have over a year and a half’s worth of professional experience before receiving a diploma."
