WEST HARTFORD-NEW HAVEN, CT — Greenwich extended its record of state class boys swimming championships, breezing to its 47th divisional title in the Class LL meet Thursday at the Cornerstone Aquatics Center in West Hartford.

The Cardinals amassed 924 to nearly double the 496 of runner-up Ridgefield. Glastonbury was just one point behind to capture third.

Thirteen proved to be anything but an unlucky number for New Canaan, which captured its 13th divisional title in Class L at Cornerstone. The Rams scored 709 points to 688 for Fairfield Prep, with Amity Regional a distant third.
