Greenwich Swimmers Capture Record 37th State Open Title: Full Results

NEW HAVEN, CT — Greenwich extended its unprecedented run of boys swimming State Open titles Saturday, using its depth to nearly double the point total of runner-up Ridgefield in capturing the program's 37th Open title.

The Cardinals compiled 636 points at the Yale University pool to 393 for Ridgefield. New Canaan (263) was third.

Greenwich dominated the relay events, sweeping all three. Individual winners of two events each were Jack Clancy of Ridgefield, Elliot Lee of Daniel Hand and Peter Horan of Newtown, who set a new Open record in the 100 backstroke.
