This week's Hidden Gems are slightly hidden war memorials in Connecticut.

ACROSS, CT — Friday was proclaimed National Road Trip Day to kick off the Memorial Day weekend. In that spirit, this week's installment of the Hidden Gems series takes us to a half-dozen veterans memorial monuments in Connecticut that are very unique and slightly off the beaten path.
