Latest Weekly High School Baseball Poll Released

The seemingly never-ending winter has wreaked havoc with the high school baseball schedule this spring, particularly for schools in northern Connecticut, but defending Class LL champion Staples does not seem affected at all.

In the most recent balloting of media members, the Wreckers (1-0) collected all 12 first-place votes to sit atop the rankings. Waterford (1-0) was second, with Cheshire (2-0) placing third.

A total of 34 schools garnered votes.

Here are the top 15, plus all other schools receiving votes, with records through April 8:
