Macy's Outlines Connecticut Store Roster For Toys 'R' Us Partnership

CONNECTICUT — Macy's has outlined which stores in Connecticut will be part of its expanded Toys R Us holiday venture.
Macy's in July announced an expanded partnership with WHP Global to bring the Toys "R" Us brand to "every Macy's store in America" in time for this holiday season.
The Connecticut mall locations are:

- Stamford Town Center
- Trumbull
- The Shoppes At Buckland Hills in Manchester
- Connecticut Post in Milford
- Westfarms on the Farmington-West Hartford line.
- Danbury Fair
The toys began appearing in late summer and Macy's goal was to have the displays ready nationwide by Oct.15, according to the announcement.
The in-store shops will range from 1,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet. The footprints of some stores will be expanded by an additional 500 to 3,000 square feet during the holiday season to offer "an even wider assortment of products," Macy's officials said over the summer.

The Toys R Us brand will be featured with "playful colored fixtures" as well as hands-on demonstration tables for customers to interact with "various toy assortments," Macy's officials said.
The Toys "R" Us shops will also feature a life-size "Geoffrey on a Bench" photo opportunity for families to pose with the iconic Toys "R" Us mascot.
As part of the original announcement, Macy's officials said stores this month will be hosting in-store events featuring family friendly activities and daily giveaways from involving major brands.
Since last August, Macy's has been offering an expansive assortment of Toys "R" Us products online at macys.com/toysrus and ToysRUs.com.
