Major Redevelopment Planned For Historic CT Inn Property

The expansion will include more rooms along with a spa, an events barn, a pool, and a fast-casual restaurant.

SALISBURY, CT — The Wake Robin Inn has been sold for $3.5 million to new owners who plan a major redevelopment of the property, according to The Hartford Business Journal.

The century-old inn, near Wonoskopmuc Lake in Salisbury’s Lakeville section, will be expanded from 38 rooms in two buildings to 71 rooms, with a spa, an events barn, a pool, and a fast-casual restaurant.

The redevelopment was able to move forward after a judge dismissed a lawsuit from residents last month against Salisbury’s Planning and Zoning Commission that challenged a zoning amendment related to the inn's expansion, according to The Lakeville Journal.
