There's something for everyone to enjoy in the Nutmeg State this weekend, beginning with "Little Red or the Three Pigs" for young audiences at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport through Feb. 8. You didn’t think the story of Little Red or the Three Pigs were related, but one character connects the two…The big bad wolf! But wait, is he big and bad? Or is the Wolf just hungry because he and Grandma played Minecraft for too long?"

On Sunday, Feb. 1, enjoy the sounds of Drum Tao at the Fairfield University Quick Center for the Arts. "While wadaiko (taiko for short) drums have been a part of Japanese culture for centuries, Ikuo Fujitaka, the founder and artistic director of DRUM TAO (established in 1993), traces a bit of his inspiration to North America. After seeing Cirque du Soleil use a Japanese wadaiko drum in their show Mystère, he was inspired to build a production that would showcase traditional taiko drumming of Japan in a modern context."
