Man Seriously Injured In Torrington Shooting Over Weekend: PD
The victim was shot in the leg, according to police.
TORRINGTON, CT — A man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg at a residence on McKinley Street over the weekend, according to police.
Police Capt. Brett L. Johnson said police responded to a report of an armed robbery and shooting at the residence around 7:23 a.m. Saturday.
Responding officers found a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital, and police described his injury as serious, but not life-threatening.

Police said they believe it is an isolated incident, with no known danger to the general public.
