Man Found Stuck In Chimney, Faces Several Charges: Police
First responders were called to the property on a report of a man who was stuck in a chimney, police said.
BRISTOL, CT — A man was found stuck in a chimney at a park building in Bristol on Sunday, and now he faces burglary and trespassing charges, according to police.
Carlos Owens, of Bristol, was charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree criminal trespass, police said.
On June 22, Bristol police officers and members of the Bristol Fire Department responded to the pavilion building at Rockwell Park on a complaint of a man stuck in a chimney.

First responders found Owens with his feet dangling in the fireplace, police said, noting that Owens said he became stuck after trying to climb into the building.
Firefighters were able to free Owens after cutting apart the fireplace, police said.

"Based on officers' findings, they believe Owens had been staying in the building illegally for a period of time," police added.
