Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With School Bus Identified: Report
The motorcyclist died after a crash with a school bus early Wednesday morning in Torrington.
TORRINGTON, CT — The motorcyclist killed in a crash with a school bus early Wednesday morning in Torrington has been identified as Zachary Zecchin, 24, of Winsted, according to WFSB 3.
WTNH News 8 reported that the crash happened around 6:15 a.m. at the intersection of Torringford Street and Greenwoods Road. Zecchin was airlifted to Hartford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to WTNH.
No students were on the bus at the time of the crash, and the bus driver wasn’t injured, NBC Connecticut reported.

News12 Connecticut reported that the area was closed for about four hours while police were at the scene investigating the crash.
