New Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Famers to Be Inducted
Six women will be honored at a ceremony on Sept. 15 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Six women will be inducted next weekend as the newest electees to the Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Fame. Two honorees were selected on the basis of their high school playing careers, while four others are being inducted in the categories of high school coach, college player, umpire and honorary.
The Hall of Fame ceremony is slated for Sunday, Sept. 15 beginning at 3 p.m. at the Aqua Turf Club in the Plantsville section of Southington. Tickets are $60, and may be reserved prior to Sept. 6 by contacting Nancy Grace at n1027grace@gmail.com, or 860-751-9774.

- High School Player - Emily Skipp, Pomperaug
- High School Player - Susan Witkos Grigely, Granby Memorial
- High School Coach - Terri Ziemnicki, Avon
- College Player - Fior Griffin, Northeastern University (Watertown)
- Umpire - Bonnie Maskery, Bristol
- Honorary - Gayle Hutchinson, Enfield
