New Reporter Joins NBC Connecticut News Team
Jolie Sherman is a Michigan native who most recently worked at Local 22 WVNY & Local 44 WFFF News in Vermont.
CONNECTICUT — Jolie Sherman, a multimedia journalist and reporter, recently joined NBC Connecticut from Local 22 WVNY & Local 44 WFFF News in Vermont, The Laurel reported.
Sherman, who hails from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, was at the Vermont station for two years before moving to southern New England.
"I'm so excited to share that I'll be moving to Hartford, CT and reporting for @NBCConnecticut," she wrote on Twitter. "I can't wait to begin this next chapter, and I thank @WVNYWFFF
for shaping me into the reporter I am today."

Sherman is a graduate of Illinois State University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in journalism, with a minor in French, and was a scholarship recipient to compete for the school's renowned Speech and Debate team.
While at ISU, Sherman was a multimedia journalist and reporter for the school's TV-10 News program, and its NPR station, WGLT Radio.

Sherman is the second reporter this week to announce that they have joined a Connecticut television news station. On Sunday, Tony Black said he left CNYCentral in Syracuse, New York, to join Fox61.
