No Surprises at Top of Weekly Boys Lacrosse Poll

The top-ranked team in the country received all 12 first-place votes in the most recent balloting.

A 4-0 start, during which it has outscored opponents by a 67-17 margin, has kept the boys lacrosse team from Darien High School as not only the unanimous choice of voters in the weekly Connecticut poll of coaches and media members, but also tops in the nation.

Coach Jeff Brameier's squad won two games week by a combined 37-4 score, then crushed Fairfield Ludlowe 17-2 on Tuesday to cement its lofty ranking.

New Canaan and Wilton maintained the second and third positions in the most recent balloting.
